Mission of the Fourth International Conference of Tibet Support Groups
To offer an opportunity and platform for all the Tibet Support Groups to meet and exchange experiences with each other and with Central Tibetan Administration in order to forge more effective means of supporting the cause of Tibet.
Central Tibetan Administration's Objective: -
1. To offer an opportunity and platform for all the Tibet Support Groups to meet and exchange experiences in order to forge more effective means of supporting the cause of Tibet.
2. To present the Central Tibetan Administration's Middle Way approach for resolving the problem of Tibet through direct negotiations with China, and to seek inputs and suggestions from the Tibet Support Groups for achieving this goal as soon as possible.
Objectives as drafted by the Preparatory Committee Members: -
1. To strengthen and empower the network of Tibet Support Groups so that they may function more effectively with each other and also interact more effectively with the Central Tibetan Administration.
2. To devise a three year detailed plan of action which will realise the goal of bringing to an end the People's Republic of China's occupation of Tibet.
